October 31, 2006: Review - Fossil Ion Blue Superman Watch
Fossil's latest Superman watch could well be the best one they've released so far.Packaged in a stylish blue box adorned with a "Superman Saving the World" motif, the watch itself is encases within a cylindrical container with the same design as the box. The Certificate of Authenticity is cleverly included inside the lid.
The stainless steel bracelet is nicely offset by blue center links, with the word SUPERMAN etched into the clasp. The same ion blue plating surrounds the top ring accent as well.
The watch face itself is quite striking, with an electric blue Superman "S" shield (with a red outline) over an etched metallic background.
There's not much in the way of special features with this watch, it's a simple yet elligent watch, with none of the bells and whistles of other recent Fossil Superman watches. The watch does feature large 12 and 6 indicators surrounded by numbered markings at every 5 second interval, and the three hand quartz movement.
This limited edition timepiece is an excellent purchase for any Superman fan, especially with Christmas right around the corner.
