February 16, 2006: Warner Bros. Launches “Super” Fashions
Warner Bros. Consumer Products, in partnership with Priorities, a division of StefiT Inc., will produce a line of tees, tanks, thermals and zip hoodies inspired by the DC Comics characters Superman, Supergirl, Lois Lane, Wonder Woman and Batman.The items, highly embellished with Swarovski rhinestones and rhinestuds, are contemporary fashion, yet have the classic look of the comics, according to both companies. The line features pieces for both men and women, as well as tween boys and girls. A highlight of the collection is a tank with the S-Shield logo, inspired by the upcoming film Superman Returns.
Retail prices of the collection range from $48-$150. The line can be seen at the upcoming MAGIC show in Las Vegas, February 21-24, and is set to start appearing in department and specialty boutiques in April.
