October 23, 2006: The History of Superman Video Games
With the November 20th release of "Superman Returns: The Videogame" almost upon us, 1up.com has an interesting article titled "Superman: Gamer's Kryptonite" which examines all the Superman video games ever released (starting from the Atari 2600 "Superman" game), including video footage of game play from each one.
- Superman is the Hope Diamond of videogame licenses. For almost thirty years it has brought pain and ruin to all who dare to possess it. The ancient gypsy curse on Clark's tights never stops well-meaning developers from giving it their best shot, though.
