April 11, 2011: Nicolas Cage's Stolen "Action Comics #1" Found

Action Comics #1 KTLA.com reports that a copy of "Action Comics #1" which was stolen from actor Nicolas Cage ten years ago, was recently recovered, found in a storage locker.

The 1938 comic book, "Action Comics #1," was stolen from Cage's West Los Angeles home in 2000 and has an estimated value of $1 million.

According to the Ventura County Star, it was found last month when a man found it in a San Fernando Valley storage locker.

The man, who was not identified, bought the storage unit in an auction through Riverside-based American Auctioneers.

The book was identified by New York dealer Stephen Fishier, who sold it to Cage originally. The book has not yet been returned to its owner.
