According to The Wrap, Neva Howell has been cast in the role of Martha Kent, Clark Kent’s adoptive mother, in the upcoming 2025 “Superman” movie.
With yesterday’s announcement that Pruitt Taylor Vince has been selected to play Jonathan Kent, it appears as though both Ma and Pa Kent will be alive in this continuity.
Neva Howell’s recent roles include “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Long Haul,” “Logan Lucky” and “My Fellow Americans”.
Previously known as “Superman: Legacy”, the cast of the film, now simply titled “Superman”, features David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer.
Directed by James Gunn, “Superman” is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
