October 26, 2011: The Superman Comic Marvel Wanted to Publish
Comic book writer Jim Shooter has revealed the plot details for a "Superman" comic book Marvel wanted to publish in the mid-1980s written by John Byrne.
Apparently Marvel were negotiating with DC Comics at the time to publish a number of books based on DC characters, but negotiations fell through due to a lawsuit by another comic company that was anti-trust in nature.
