The SAG Awards were held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on Saturday, February 24, and DirectTV caught up with Rachel Brosnahan on the red carpet and asked her why she was drawn to the role of Lois Lane for the upcoming film “Superman: Legacy”.
”She’s smart and ambitious and can be funny, and she knows that she’s the smartest person in the room more often than not.”

With the cast getting together this past week for a table read of the script, filming is said to begin this coming week in Atlanta, Georgia.
The cast of “Superman: Legacy” features David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer.
Directed by James Gunn, “Superman: Legacy” is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
How great would it be if filming started Thursday, 02/29 (both Superman and Michael Bailey’s birthday)? I could easily see Gunn lining that up.
Even though the suit reveal hasn’t happened yet, I am glad to hear that the suit is made and ready. 🙂
Awesome! I hope we have the red trunks and yellow belt and royal blue this time!
Things are moving along nicely. I’m looking forward to the day that filming actually begins.
