David Corenswet Talks About the Vibe of New “Superman” Movie

Appearing in Atlanta for a screening of his new film “The Greatest Hits,” actor David Corenswet has reportedly described the upcoming “Superman” movie as having the vibes of “Superman For All Seasons” and “All-Star Superman” but still being very much its own story.

According to fan David Thompson, senior editor at The Direct, Corenswet is the “nicest guy in the world! Absolutely huge, great hand shake”.

“The Greatest Hits” will premiere on Hulu on April 12.

Previously known as “Superman: Legacy”, the cast of the film, now simply titled “Superman”, features David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer.

Directed by James Gunn, “Superman” is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.

I definitely think he has a good superman voice.

As much as I enjoyed Henry, he could come off as sort of wooden, but I don’t blame him for that, I blame terrible dialogue along with probably poor directing.

I for one just hope that this “new” version of Superman will be recognizable and not some one sided appeasement of todays quota driven movies.

I would disagree some on your assessment regarding Henry along with Snyder and his accomplishments.
