March 15, 2018: Correction - SYFY's "Krypton" After-Show is Still Happening

Back in early February SYFY announced that they were looking for a Superman Superfan to star as the host of an online after-show about their upcoming new television series "Krypton". Fans were asked to submit a video of themselves auditioning to be the "Krypton" after-show host. Yesterday a source close to SYFY had informed us that the idea has been cancelled, and no after-show was being produced, that is NOT the case.

Tongal.com, the company in charge of the whole process for SYFY, has today informed us via email that "The winner has been chosen and the videos are currently in pre-production. You can check up on the status of the Project here.

The "Krypton" after-show video series is intended for distribution on SYFY and SYFY Wire's owned channels and digital platforms, specifically YouTube and SYFY.com, but potentially also Facebook and Instagram. The short 11-second teaser videos may air on TV to promote the aftershow series.

We'll keep you updated as details emerge.
