April 8, 2018: New "Supergirl" Poster Announces Return of New Episodes

The CW has released a new "Supergirl" poster image announcing the return of new episodes.

Back in February "Supergirl" took an unprecedented nine-week hiatus, with "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" occupying the Monday time slot until April 9, at which point "Supergirl" will return with new episodes on April 16 and run continuously right through to Monday, June 18 when the Season 3 finale will air.

Titled "Schott Through The Heart", this episode is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Monday, April 16 at 8.00pm ET/PT.

OSCAR-NOMINATED ACTRESS LAURIE METCALF GUEST STARS

When Winn's (Jeremy Jordan) father dies, his estranged mother, Mary (guest star Laurie Metcalf), reappears trying to reconnect and to explain why she abandoned him all those years ago. Winn is too embittered from his rough childhood to forgive her but when a copycat Toyman attacks, the two must work together to stop him. Mon-El (Chris Wood) tells Kara (Melissa Benoist) something important about the Worldkillers, and Alex (Chyler Leigh) becomes suspicious of Myr'nn's (guest star Carl Lumbly) recent behavior.
