April 4, 2016: DC Comics Announces More Novels for Young Readers

Secret Hero Society Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Catwoman will be the focus of a new series of novels for Younger Readers from Random House in 2017.

DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products has partnered with Random House Books for Young Readers to bring four of the most iconic characters to life.

Random House has brought on a super league of writers to do the characters justice, all of them New York Times bestselling authors. There's Leigh Bardugo (The Grisha Trilogy) on Wonder Woman, Marie Lu (The Young Elites) on Batman, Matt de la Peña (Mexican Whiteboy and The Living) on Superman, and Sarah J. Maas (The Thrones of Glass series) on Catwoman.

The books will be released in that order, starting with Wonder Woman in August 2017 - a month after the planned release of the Wonder Woman movie.

Random House says all four novels "will embrace themes of good vs. evil, coming-of-age romance, and superheroes from unexpected places who have the determination to achieve seemingly impossible dreams."
