March 4, 2016: Second "DC Super Hero Girls" Original Graphic Novel Announced
While the first "DC Super Hero Girls" original graphic novel titled "Finals Crisis" hasn't yet been released (it lands on July 5), DC Comics has announced that a second volume is scheduled to be published on November 2.Written by Shea Fontana with art by Yancey Labat, the same pair responsible for the first book, the second volume will be titled "DC Super Hero Girls: Hits & Myths".
"While learning about The Odyssey in Mister Etrigan's poetry class, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl and their friends go on their own Odyssey-inspired journey where they face off with a Cyclops, seek help from a Witch, and evade the Siren before journeying to the underworld," reads the official description. "Can they help their teacher escape from Trigon's prison and return home? Find out in DC Super Hero Girls: Hits & Myths."
An advance preview of "DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisis" will be available in comic shops on Free Comic Book Day, May 7.
