New “Justice League” Deleted Scene Photo

Zack Snyder has shared a previously unseen photo from the “Justice League” movie to his Vero social media account. Apparently from Snyder’s cut of the film, the photo shows The Flash standing beside Superman’s casket as he positions it within the Kryptonian scout ship, with a Kryptonian costume responding to Kal-El’s presence.

What do you think? Will we ever see Snyder’s cut of “Justice League”?

Has Zack said anything on why he keeps putting up photos?

Other than weaponizing social media against the studio that used his daughter’s passing as an opportunity to replace him?

He might as well just do all his films in black and white.

I personally don’t thin that we’ll ever see a Snyder Cut of Justice League. Reason being that I don’t thin that WB are willing to put up money to finish a movie that they considered a failure. But I have heard Rumblings that since Warner Brothers has their new streaming service up and running, that perhaps it’ll Premiere there if it does at all. At this point I may have to retract my previous statement if it does happen. But I guess we’ll see.

Finishing this cut and releasing it theatrically would benefit Warner Brothers exponentially. It would reignite interest and enthusiasm into their dwindling, all over the place movie universe. This studio historically disappoints more than they please dc fans, they typically end up ruining their comic book franchises, but I’m hoping this time they listen and get it right. Zack Snyder is a talented filmmaker who put a lot into this, the cast is great, and all around everyone else who put work into the true vision of this film deserve to have this film seen in its true vision. There’s no… Read more »

I don’t agree. Snyder Cut will be a bloated mess with too many storylines to set up now canceled sequels and spin offs. Overly grim and It would only cater to a small niche audience and make the higher ups look bad if it is released. And I don’t get your “reignite interest and enthusiasm into their dwindling, all over the place movie universe” line of thinking. The buzz over all their upcoming movies is pretty high. Even for that dumpster fire looking movie Birds of Prey. So I don’t see how it would benefit them to release a movie… Read more »

I’d say your being a tad bit presumptuous. Apparently you know things no one else does. Hopefully at some point we will get a positive answer as to what’s actually there. “Overly grim”? Maybe for you. I would not expect his cut to be released at the theaters. Most want to see all the scenes chopped out if his version and more so the way Superman’s return was handled. What we did get was a sloppy(not blaming JossW) almost quickly thrown together story line that was as thin as a sheet of paper. Speaking for myself, I like the grim/realistic… Read more »

I honestly don’t get you. On the animated front you complain about the off the wall storylines and the communist Superman and all the death of stories, but you champion this version so strongly? By everything you say about the animated movies you should hate the Snyder version more than anyone. And yes, it is grimdark, his JL was going even darker, by his own account. Watch the trailer, WW fails to save the bank everything I ever read about it says Superman comes back evil(something you complain about in other threads),he joins Darsied. The Knigtmare scene from BvS was… Read more »

I never took in that Superman in MoS, BvS and the JL was overly grim and dark enough to end up with an attitude of it being an off the wall story line for his character. But in saying that, strange versions of his character like this, certainly qualify. Granted it’s animated(thanks for that) so they can and have taken liberties in story lines. But,….do they really need to?? I would not parallel this story line with any thing I’ve seen on the big screen. I still think that what Zack brought to the table was way more in tune… Read more »

I’m not talking MOS, I thoroughly enjoyed it and feel it was a good starting point, but BvS was totally dark and grim. And he acted completely out of character for a vast majority of that film, at least when he killed Zod in MOS he felt bad, he kills a few people in BvS without batting an eye. He is morose and dour for the entirety of the film and just stands mute when he should act.

BvS was dark. BUT…it more so revolved around the introduction of Batman. But that’s what happened when Superman was included in his world. I don’t think it would have made sense any other way.

And he “kills” a few people in BvS. I don’t recall where he kills a “few”!!

The terrorist leader that had Lois that he grabs at superspeed and smashes through a few brick walls, yeah, there’s a zero percent chance that he lived through that. He never even pretends that it bothered him either.

The fact that he kills ANY humans is comically out of character.

By extension of the Batman Begins Ras al Ghul argument all the people he lets die in the senate hearing because he just stands there instead of doing something(literally anything) could conceivably count as deaths at his hands, but that’s argumentative.

We don’t see the terrorist die, like at all. Superman moves fast, he could have easily wrapped him arms around the general’s head and spine or even just held him back while he busted through the wall. There is no evidence that the general died, just speculation on your part.

Not speculation, physics. Being hit by a 200lbs man at that speed alone would turn him into paste, the walls he smashes through after the fact are irrelevant to whether or not he lived. There is nothing left of that guy but a red smear. Superman killed him plain and simple. Given the fact that ZS himself has openly ridiculed people for say that heroes don’t kill makes your argument of this kind of silly.

I guess it kind of depends how his character is written into stories. It’s kind of comical to me that story lines that have him in environments that are surrounded with dire events where there are weapons and other life threatening sequences going on and having him be in the middle of it all and then expect that there’s never going to be any killing just because of his character and his character’s name. It’s to lame not to expect that at certain rare times someones going to die as collateral damage.

Directly attacking someone isn’t collateral damage

Well then I guess it boils down to what your definition is regarding who and what defines “someone”.

Since all and any of these story line situations are fake and invented for the sake of the movie plot they by your standard don’t belong in Superman’s life and everything MUST be written to appease people that think there’s never any dire ending(s) for criminal behavior.

If you want this characters story lines appealing to adolescents then seeing cornball and unrealistic conclusions are in this day and age nonsensical. But I do know there is an audience that sides that way.

Your whole first sentence makes exactly zero sense. And you are actively being obtuse. I never said that “dire” situations shouldn’t exist. I said his reaction to them is so wildly out of character to them it borders on parody. There’s nothing adolescent, cornball or unrealistic about ending a threat without killing, especially when someone as powerful as Superman is involved. He is supposed to be a beacon of hope, a standard above the baser human instinct, a role model. He could have disarmed that guy a thousand different ways with ease. He doesn’t even try. He literally doesn’t even say… Read more »

I’m pretty certain we will see it at a certain point…in the not so far future. It’s just a matter of time. While several films have had the Director’Cut treatment and were released after such a short period of time after the initial release, they proved to be more successful story wise. The Snyder Cut is gestating….slowly.

Well, I’d sure like to see it. One thing is for sure with all these unseen shots. He’s definitely showing us that what we got was about as opposite as what he’d put together as one could imagine. But the big question is still going answered. And that’s what’s missing from his cut.
