April 5, 2024: Cleveland Extras Wanted for New "Superman" Movie
Angela Boehm Casting has posted a casting call for Extras in the Cleveland area interested in working on the upcoming "Superman" film.Using the production codename "Genesis", the casting calls will begin around the end of April - early May.
People interested are encouraged to follow Angela Boehm Casting on Facebook or Instagram to stay informed of any casting opportunities, as well as instructions on how to submit for the project.
Cleveland has an important connection to the Man of Steel, as Superman's co-creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster lived there when they created the character.
Previously known as "Superman: Legacy", the cast of the film, now simply titled "Superman", features David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer.
Directed by James Gunn, "Superman" is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
