The dcfamily Instagram account has shared a previously unseen behind-the-scenes photo of Ezra Miller and Henry Cavill during filming of the “Justice League” movie.
On set, dressed in their respective costumes as The Flash and Superman, Ezra appears to be giving Henry as shoulder massage.

I just have to ask this, why are they releasing this photo now? Justice League is about a year and a half old now. Does this have to do with the Snyder cut?
Yeah, who knows. With absolutely nothing on the horizon regarding Superman or JL (as far as I know), I don’t see a point in the continued promotion and teasing. Apparently Zack released info on who he had in mind to play Darkseid yesterday. But…why?? I just don’t understand what is the point of all this other than to maybe start a grass roots campaign to get a JL2(or a reboot of JL)? But we are a LONG way from that and even if the fans DID rally and call for one… do we really believe they’ve learned their lessons yet?… Read more »
Haven’t read anything so far regarding ZS comments. And with all due respect a lot of us feel they DID NOT screw up Superman and or Batman regarding their characters. As far as I’m concerned WW is on that B team as well. I think we have a pretty good feel as to how Shazam is going to appeal,(kids anyone?) Aquaman was dynamite! From the visuals to the story, they couldn’t have made it better. Wonder Woman was mediocre in a sense that there wasn’t one single thing about it that was controversial or memorable. I hope it has something to do with a potential Snyder cut, honestly. There have been a lot of behind the scenes reveals that are related to Snyder’s initial shoot.
I know a lot of people don’t care for his vision or take on the characters, but I will un-apologetically say I loved it and want a more satisfying pseudo-conclusion to his take on the world and characters.
I’m with you on that as well SuperJ. When you look at the big picture the only thing we were really missing that could have made ALL the difference was a direct sequel to MoS.
A MoS sequel would have helped a lot to establish more about Clark and his place in the world, but I think we could have used an introduction to Aquaman and Flash as well. I don’t include Cyborg in that only because it seems to me that JL was intended to be a partial origin story for Vic, as he was so closely tied to the Mother Boxes.
Well….he doesn’t have the mustache so at least we know the photo is Snyder’s and not part of the JossW fiasco.

This ‘coulda, woulda and shoulda’ stuff is getting old. Again, I just want to move on from JL. Clearly the company has. Unless they’re going to release the Snyder cut, I don’t want to hear about it anymore.
I want nothing more than a MOS sequel with Henry, but I’m tired of holding my breath waiting. Sounds like both these guys are about to exit their roles anyway so I don’t know why these images keep popping up and taunting us.
Yea would like that sequel as well. It’s hard to believe that it’s been a long 6 years since MoS came out. But it took 7 years between SR and MoS! We all change as we get older so if Henry is still in the mix one would think we’d be hearing something in the very near future. However things have been pretty quite since the management change fiasco and in general we’ve heard very little regarding anything that’s up and coming. I don’t see WB releasing a movie that sets up sequels they have no intention of making.
Of another cut of JL is released, I think it would include some cut scenes but keep the theatrical ending.
No way they take Snyder’s assembly cut from before he left, spend millions finishing the CGI (especially after spending an estimated $25 million on reshoots) and release it. Sure maybe in 30 years, but I don’t see it at all. WB is done with it and all the false reports by Twitter fandom won’t change it.
Maybe…..BUT…for the most part there hasn’t been any positive conformation of just exactly how much of it, if any is really missing. I’d be willing to bet there’s enough to qualify as a completed movie. The bad part being that it’s probably going to end with it leading into a second part that we will never get an opportunity to see. So if it ever does get released were going to have to except that. But I still say bring it on.
Snyder can always start a go fund me or something to raise the money to finish the cgi. Again, even if it is done, there’s just no way WB is throwing any amount of money at it to finish up the cgi. I’m curious just like everyone else to see what could have been but am realistic about the fact that we may never see it. It’s still all quiet on the Superman front too. I’m would assume that ZS’ers cut(if there’s one) is the property of the WB. I’m not so sure that Henry has to be coaxed in any way. And I’m also not sure if not having any faith in the character is valid. I would think at this point it’s all about money. No telling how the take over by AT&T is going to affect the final outcome of the company. With the management fiasco that took place it’s been even quieter. I’ll compromise with you and say that WB thinks that Superman won’t make them any money… which is absurd that they were expecting a billion dollars on his first outing. You’re probably right that they’re just going to let the current slate run it’s course before announcing anything new. I hope the new management is better. As far as Henry goes, I hope he gets some new management as well. He currently has the rocks manager and I don’t think she’s doing him any favors. Good stuff Sund! As far as Marvel goes and their success, they did the one thing that helped IMO, move along their franchise to where it is today. And that was to give their characters sequels and develop them in a meaningful way. That’s where the WB/DC management TOTALLY blew it. MoS was a “new” direction regarding Superman and although I liked BvS it was still OUT OF ORDER and should have come at a later time. Welp, we haven’t had any Superman news in about a month. I really am just waiting for the other shoe to drop now where we find out Henry has left the role. I just read yesterday about how Shazam’s future is also in jeopardy. I won’t be surprised if we’re plunged back into the 90s dark ages of superhero films where we get 2 or 3 characters in unrelated universes. At this point it’s hard to speculate anything. Seeing what Erza is doing with himself in the media I for one wouldn’t want that fruitcake ever stepping into a Flash costume again. It feels more like nobody knows what the H they’re doing. There also seems to be more unheard of independent superhero movies on the way. And with Marvel concluding the Avengers god knows what they’re going to poor out. My brain is still exploding over Professor Hulk. They’ve ruined that character.
