“Supergirl” S05E16 “Alex in Wonderland” Promo Trailer

The CW has released the official promo trailer for the 16th episode of Season 5 of “Supergirl”.

Titled “Alex in Wonderland” this episode is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Sunday, March 22 at 9.00pm ET/PT.

ALEX TAKES ON A NEW ROLE

Alex (Chyler Leigh) uses a pair of Obsidian contact lenses to visit a virtual National City where she takes on a whole new persona. Meanwhile, Kelly (Azie Tesfai) helps William (Staz Nair) investigate Lex. Kara (Melissa Benoist) deals with difficult news.

Tawnia McKiernan directed the episode with story by Rob Wright and teleplay by Jess Kardos & Mariko Tamaki.

I have a feeling you may be right…other hand it could be Alex accidentally picks that. Unlikely, but I thought I would put it out. All I can say is, buckle up for a wild ride.

Yeah, I have a feeling that Dean won’t be coming back unfortunately. Still, I am looking forward to seeing what Alex’s take on Supergirl would be if she were the Girl of Steel.

I know that they have used lines from Superman the move and Superman 2 before in their show. Or variations of them. For example “ I hate flying.Statistically it’s the safest way to travel..” Or “ General, care to step outside?”
I would be very surprised if Kara doesn’t say” All those things I can do. All those powers, and I couldn’t even save him.” for the upcoming episode.
