The cast of “Superman: Legacy” is quickly being pulled together with Skyler Gisondo now confirmed as playing Jimmy Olsen in the upcoming film, while Eve Teschmacher will be played by Sara Sampaio.
A versatile actor, Gisondo has appeared in film such as “The Amazing Spider-Man” movies, “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,” “The Social Dilemma,” and “Licorice Pizza”. He has also starred in various television series like “The Righteous Gemstones” and “The Resort”.
Sara Sampaio has been cast to play Eve Teschmacher, the girlfriend of Lex Luthor (being played by Nicholas Hoult). Originally from Portugal, Sampaio has worked as both an actor and a model, appearing in “At Midnight” on Paramount+ and Showtime’s “Billions”.
The cast of “Superman: Legacy” features David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer.
Directed by James Gunn, “Superman: Legacy” is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.

I’ll say this much. James Gunn seems to be casting very classic looks for his characters. Who would have thought that in this day and age we would have a red headed freckle faced Jimmy Olsen on screen again LOL. Not to knock POC actors as I thought Supergirl’s Mechad Brooks was a great choice and an interesting take on the character.
