July 11, 2018: Superman's New Fortress of Solitude
The second issue of DC Entertainment's "DC Nation" comic book/magazine (available at comic book retailers at a cover price of $0.25 and free via digital download) contains our first look at Superman's New Fortress of Solitude as designed by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Ivan Reis.With all the twists and turns so far in Brian Michael Bendis' work on Superman, the writer's most controversial move may just be where he's placing the Fortress of Solitude. After the Kryptonian getaway in the Arctic was demolished by Rogol Zaar in the MAN OF STEEL miniseries, Bendis and series artist Ivan Reis decided to establish a new Fortress far away from its frigid, snow-covered origins and into an even more remote and mysterious locale - the Bermuda Triangle.
