August 14, 2018: Turma da Mônica Meets the Justice League in Brazil

The World's Greatest Super Heroes are heading to Brazil! DC Comics is proud to announce a partnership with Panini and Mauricio de Sousa, collaborating on the Turma da Mônica meets the Justice League production.

The new crossover will have its first issue published within, and featured on the front covers of, the December editions of Mônica, Cebolinha, Cascão, Magali, Chico Bento and Turma da Mônica magazines, and two complete adventures in the December and January editions of the Mônica Jovem Group, published by Panini with the characters of Mauricio de Sousa Produções alongside DC superheroes and supervillains such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Joker, Catwoman and many other iconic characters.

The editorial features of the magazines will be all designed by Mauricio de Sousa Produções and the story lines will unite the characters in thrilling adventures.

After more than 15 years as editors of DC Comics in Brazil and a decade of partnership with Mauricio de Sousa and MSP, it was time to give life to a team as incredible as this. "For almost 60 years, my comics have entertained many generations of Brazilian readers. Now, all of them, just like me, will enjoy this very special moment: the crossover of Monica and her friends with DC Comics superheroes," says Mauricio de Sousa.
