In a post on Instagram TV’s Supergirl Melissa Benoist has congratulated Sasha Calle on being cast as Supergirl for the upcoming movie “The Flash”.
The casting announcement came yesterday when director Andy Muschietti posted the video call in which he told Sasha she’d won the role.
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script by Christina Hodson, “The Flash” stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle and Billy Crudup. The film arrives in theaters November 4, 2022.
I wasn’t sure about Sasha being cast as the new Supergirl at first, but after reading that Melissa has given her approval for this actress, she has my approval too. Congratulations Sasha!
