A large group of Superman comic book creators past and present were recently invited to visit James Gunn on the set of the upcoming “Superman” movie in Atlanta, Georgia.
Amongst the group were Frank Quitely, Jim Lee (front row), Angelo Exarhkios, Kevin Maguire, Carrie Williams, Scott Snyder, Josh Williamson, John Ostrander, Anne DePies (middle row), and Jerry Ordway, Christina Merkler, Cameron Merkler, Dan Jurgens, Jason Aaron (back row).
Director James Gunn posted the photo on his social media accounts saying, “Great day with some comic book titans visiting the Superman set. So many of my heroes all at once it was really overwhelming”.
Directed by James Gunn, “Superman” is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
I really wish they used Dan Jurgens as a consultant rather then Tom king.
Couldn’t agree more. Jurgens is the one writer I trust most with Superman.
