OK don't be confused yet! The roll call shows the Legionnaires looking very - different (we'll get to that!)

The story begins with Superman being hurled to space. Its audition time for new members and Invulnera-Boys protective power repels Light Lad and Clark uncontrollably. Saturn Girl asks the wannabes if they can control their powers well enough to be assets to the team. Each of the newbies show off their powers to a decidedly unimpressed Bouncing Boy.

An argument ensues about who to allow into the Legion until an echoing sneeze interrupts them.

Enter Infectious Lass...

The boys are lovestruck but wonder about her powers. I.L explains she can infect a combatant with anything she chooses, infecting Lighting Lad with lava pimples!

Superman is curious, so she can infect people one by one but how would she deal with a team?

I.L infects the team with a strange bug, much to Brainiac 5's horror. Superman hasn't been inoculated against 31st century diseases and the others might be harmed by the infection. I.L reveals she 'watered' it down to be temporary and thank goodness as the virus has caused a body swap!

Bouncing Boy is Lightning Lad. Infectious Lass is Brainiac 5. Phantom Girl is Timber Wolf. Superman is Saturn Girl. And vice versa!

Before they can adjust the evil Khunds arrive and domination is on their minds! They manage to capture the Legion with power specific dampeniers and imprison them on the Khund warship.

Superman reveals to the team that thanks to I.L they have a way out. With their powers swapped they are now all in the wrong restraints!

Taking down the Khunds proves easy when the Legion take them by surprise and once the battle is over the team has a surprise for Infectious Lass: membership to the Legion!

I.L refuses full time membership until her powers and knowledge of ailments is better catalogued, serving in The Substitutes until she's truly ready.

Meanwhile the team must live in each others shoes for another 48 hours!

4Story - 4: A high score because this is the first issue so far not to borrow too heavily from an episode of the show. This issue takes place BEFORE 'THE SUBSTITUTES' especially. It's a different and speedily paced story that I really enjoyed and recommend to long time fans!

4Art - 4: The artwork has hits its stride in a big way and compliments the shows stylization. Keep it going and let's see renditions of brand new villainous characters not in the show.

2Cover Art - 2: These covers were unique to begin with but are now beginning to lose their appeal, I would like to see more action and brighter colours to flow with the story and artwork inside the book.
