Turns out Timber Wolf's powers are derived from a particular type of radiation, and it was exposure to suck from ERG that turned Timber Wolf feral, all part of Brainy's plan. ERG is being manipulated by his brother, who Shrinking Violet dispatches with a trip through a telephone landline (no joking).

The President of Lallor is saved and Brainy wants ERG for possible Legion membership.

Meanwhile, Supergirl's team arrives in the Gobi rainforest and finds someone with a large head (who seems to be messing with time) claiming to be all that humans can one day evolve into. He's able to shut Saturn Girl out of his mind, and turns into a sort of caveman and easily dispatches Supergirl and Lightning Lad.

Just then a "temporal window" activates and mentions a "21st century incursion" and shows an image of Martian Manhunter (in his old costume) being choked by Black Adam.

3Story - 3: I enjoyed the reveal of Brainy's manipulations, but the land-line telephone gimmick just seemed far too out of place in the 31st century, even IF their other communications are going down all the time.

Would phone land-lines still exist? I don't buy it. Why not just some other sort of land-based communication device that seemed more in tune with the setting? It irked me.

I also have no idea what's going on with Supergirl or who, as Lightning Lad calls him, "Evolvo Devolvo Lad" is, or why he's apparently going to be sending Kara back to her own time. There's a whole lot of confusion going on here.

4Art - 4: As good as it has been recently. Very realistic, very well done, very enjoyable.

3Cover Art - 3: Buh?

Hey look, cool lighting effects! And... uh... Light Lass? Colossal Boy?

Well, they're not in the issue at all, but why not?

Why do so many Legion covers make so little sense? Why are there no white M&M's?

These are the mysteries of the universe.
