August 7, 2013: Justice League Comes to Life With New Augmented Reality FIGZ

Justice League FIGZ Augmented Reality App Leading Australian toy manufacturer, HeadStart, has teamed up with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to unveil its all-new augmented reality FIGZ toy range, featuring iconic characters from DC Comics' Justice League.

Fans can now watch their favourite Justice League characters ­ Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Super-Villain, The Joker ­ come to life by pairing the quality figurine with the Ultimate Super Hero AR Smartphone application.

Users simply point their app-loaded smart phone at the figurine and watch as its super powers animate in 3D.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Managing Director, Preston Kevin Lewis, believes the blend of nostalgia and new technology will appeal to fans young and old.

"This new range of collectors items represents a new era for movie and cartoon memorabilia. We're excited to launch this new range with HeadStart," Mr. Lewis said.

"Justice League is a franchise that resonates with viewers around the world. The character figurines are sure to become a must-have addition to any fan's collection."

The new augmented reality FIGZ toy range, featuring characters from the Justice League, has a RRP of AU$5.99 and are currently available in Woolworth's stores across Australia, with more retailers expected to follow.

The Ultimate Super Hero AR app is compatible across iPhone, iPod, IOS & Android platforms and is available from the App Store for free.
