October 30, 2003: DC Comics at Wizard World Texas

From November 21 through 23, members of the DC Comics staff and freelance community will be in Arlington, TX, for Wizard World Texas.

Dan DiDio, DC's VP Editorial, will be on hand on behalf of DC's editorial staff. DC's Direct Sales team will be represented at the convention by VP Direct Sales Bob Wayne, Director Sales & Marketing Communications Patty Jeres, Manager Events & Retailer Services Fletcher Chu-Fong, Representative Direct Sales Michael Freeman and Representative Marketing Services Janexy Virella.

Superman-related DC freelancers scheduled to be at the convention include:

  • Kurt Busiek (JLA/AVENGERS, ARROWSMITH, ASTRO CITY, SUPERMAN: SECRET IDENTITY)
  • Talent Caldwell (SUPERMAN)
  • Paul Dini (JLA: LIBERTY AND JUSTICE)
  • Jim Lee (BATMAN, SUPERMAN)
  • George Pérez (JLA/AVENGERS)
  • Michael Turner (SUPERMAN/BATMAN)
  • Dexter Vines (SUPERMAN/BATMAN)

    In addition, DC will present several panels at the convention, including:

    Find out what's on the way from DC Comics in this editorial slide show presentation featuring projects from the DC Universe, WildStorm, VERTIGO and DC Direct. Join moderator VP Sales & Marketing Bob Wayne, along with VP Editorial Dan DiDio, writers Kurt Busiek and Paul Dini and artists Talent Caldwell, Jim Lee and Michael Turner.
