Zack Snyder Talks About Past and Future Superman Films

In a new interview to promote his new film, “Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver,” director Zack Snyder told CBR.com that he’s “pretty excited” about James Gunn’s upcoming “Superman” film.

“You know, I’m a pretty open book. I really feel like, you know, if the characters are treated with reverence, and mythologically correct, then I’m down. I’m in. Let’s see what happens. I’m pretty excited[…] I mean, we’re going to get Superman pretty soon, so we’ll see what that’s like.”

When asked if he’d seen Zack Snyder’s comments, James Gunn responded on his Threads social media account by saying, “I didn’t but I knew it already because he’s texted me. He’s been incredibly supportive throughout this process.”

GQ and Josh Horowitz both recently released new interviews with Zack Snyder in which he discusses “Man of Steel,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”. He discusses how “Man of Steel” was the most realistic movie he’s made, how he considered casting Leonardo Dicaprio as Lex Luthor, and what it took to get his version of “Justice League” finished.
