Warner Bros. has confirmed that two characters from “Man of Steel” will be appearing in the upcoming movie “The Flash”.
While Henry Cavill himself won’t be appearing as Superman, Michael Shannon and Antje Traue will be reprising their roles of Zod and Faora respectively.
As we already know, Sasha Calle is playing Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, so it is possible other Kryptonians may also show up.
Starring Ezra Miller in the title role, “The Flash” races into theaters November 4, 2022.

So… we’re getting Zod and Faora? I loved them in Man of Steel, especially Faora. I was hoping she would come back in a Man of Steel sequel by somehow escaping the Phantom Zone or accidentally, or intentionally, be let out. But how do you have them but not Henry Cavill’s Superman? This movie is already shaping up to be a mess. Everything is leaning heavily on the Batman and Superman tie ins than the Flash-related story. Feels like Flash is being used a vehicle so we can get our fan-service.
As much as I love all things Superman, it really shouldn’t be the focus of the FIRST Flash movie.
Randall, I completely agree with you. Warner Brothers needs to show The Flash the respect he deserves. Why can’t they just have faith in their own intellectual properties and classic characters? Just let The Flash shine in his own movie.
