I went almost my whole life without seeing this movie on the big screen and I have been absolutely spoiled the last 2 years!! This will be my third time seeing since 2018!

I’m actually even starting to feel a little greedy because is it too much to ask for a double feature of this and Superman 2?? Haha

Where all my Valley of the Sun people at??

It’s not to much to ask for sundevil82. A double feature is a great idea. I would so see that. I would also like to see the three hour extended cut followed by both the theatrical and Richard Donner cut of Superman 2. I would also like to see Superman 3 and 4 the quest for peace. I know that 3 and for are not as well made as the first two, but Seeing Reeve as Superman on the big screen, would be really exciting for me to see. And yes, I admit that I’m a fan of Superman 3… Read more »

The deleted scenes from each of those movies added in for those films I would also like to see.

Now I think I’m the one who is being just a little bit greedy. But who could blame me? I’ve never had the chance to see any of the Christopher Reeve Superman films in a theatre before. So hopefully one day if I’m lucky, maybe one or more of the Reeve Superman films will be released in a cinema near me.

Hope you get to see one soon!

Up until last year I had only seen Superman 4 in theaters when I was 5. I’d like to see part 2 or the Donner cut as well!

Consider yourself lucky being 5 when you saw 4. At that tender age you wouldn’t notice how poorly it was made. Sitting it the theater watching 4 I was baffled by what they thought they had accomplished. It was a sad ending in regards to how good 1 and 2 were and how they allowed 4 to almost erase that aspect.

Oh there’s no denying it’s a poorly made film with a silly plot, but I give it a break because Chris Reeve was still bringing his ‘A’ game. He’s still selling all those lines! This movie and Masters of the Universe came out around the same time and will always have a special place in my heart haha. The most unforgivable aspect of part 4 to me was him talking and lacy breathing in space!! I was confused about how space worked for a long time as a result!

Already bought my ticket. 😀 Agreed there should have been a double feature. I am so freakin’ excited it’s not even funny, and I’ve watched this movie thousands of times. Just not the same as seeing it on the big screen.

Harkins did this last year too, but there was a problem with the projector at my theatre and they skipped the opening credits… normally I don’t complain at the movies, but I went out there and told them they should probably restart it because if you skip the Williams music, you’re going to have a bunch of angry nerds to deal with haha. They promptly restarted it!
