December 21, 2021: New Solar Superman and General Zod McFarlane Action Figures

McFarlane Toys has launched new figures in their DC Multiverse lineup, and pre-orders are live on Entertainment Earth now.

DC Multiverse General Zod DC Rebirth 7-Inch Scale Action Figure

The DC Multiverse General Zod DC Rebirth 7-Inch Scale Action Figureis designed with ultra articulation with up to 22 moving parts for a full range of posing and play. This incredibly detailed 7-inch scale action figure of General Zod comes with 2x pairs of alternate hands and a base. Also included is a collectible art card with figure photography on the front and character biography on the back.

Once considered a military hero of the planet Krypton, General Dru-Zod decided he would rather rule his world than serve it. He launched a failed coup, after which he was exiled to the prison dimension known as the Phantom Zone. Soon after, Krypton exploded and the years flew by, but General Zod remained safe in the Phantom Zone without aging. Over the years, he's escaped time and time again, and used his Kryptonian powers to threaten Earth. All the while declaring that his enemy Superman will die – or kneel before Zod!

The DC Multiverse Superman: Lois and Clark Solar Superman 7-Inch Scale Action Figure is designed with ultra articulation with up to 22 moving parts for a full range of posing and play. This incredibly detailed 7-inch scale action figure showcases Superman in his black and silver Solar Suit from Superman: Lois and Clark. Superman comes with a 1x pair of alternate hands and a flight stand. Also included is a collectible art card with figure photography on the front and character biography on the back.

Sent to Earth from the dying planet of Krypton as a baby, Kal-El was found by farmers Martha and Jonathan Kent and raised as their son, Clark. As Clark grew up, the radiation from Earth's yellow sun gave him extraordinary powers, which he kept hidden. Now fully grown, he uses his powers to protect his adopted world as Superman. The Man of Steel is virtually invulnerable and has the powers of super-strength, super-speed, and flight. He also has enhanced senses, including heat vision, X-ray vision, super-hearing, and super-breath.

After their universe was wiped from reality and replaced with the New 52 worlds that make up the Multiverse, Clark, Lois, and their son Jonathan have been transported to a new, different Earth. After remaining undercover for many years, Clark dons a black and silver suit and operates as Superman in secret.

Both action figures are priced at US$19.99 and expected to arrive in April 2022.
