June 12, 2021: Happy Superman Day!

June 12 is Superman Day, and as we celebrate the Man of Steel, it's a good time to check out all the Superman related content coming our way.

New TV episodes of "Superman & Lois" continue on The CW for the next few months, and then "Supergirl" returns for its final 13 episodes on Tuesday, August 24.

Not only do we have the remainder of Season 1 of "Superman & Lois", but we also have the luxury of knowing a second season has already been confirmed.

Sticking with television, we have a new season (Season 3) of "Titans" on the way, with Superboy's story to be expanded on (along with Krypto). We also have not one, but two seasons of a new Superman animated series titled "My Adventures With Superman" to look forward to from HBO Max and Cartoon Network.

Speaking of animated shows, we can't forget there's a fourth season of "Young Justice" (titled "Young Justice: Phantoms") also to come.

While we're all awaiting to hear what Warner Bros. is planning to do with the live-action version of Superman on the big screen, and how the JJ Abrams produced "black" Superman film will take shape, we do have other films to look forward to... although they're of the animated variety.

Dwayne Johnson will voice Krypto the Superdog in the upcoming "DC's League of Super-Pets" movie, which will be released to theaters in May 2022.

On the home video front, Warner Bros. Animation are set to bring us an "Injustice" animated movie, which will be based on the video game and comic books of the same name.

It truly is a never-ending battle, and I really haven't even touched on the comic book side of things, where new titles and revamped stories are headed our way over the next few months.

We seem to say it quite often, but it truly is a great time to be a Superman fan!
