February 20, 2019: Bendis Reveals His Plans for the DCU's Two Superboys
Writer Brian Michael Bendis has revealed via an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit that he has plans to resolve the confusion surrounding the Superboy situation.At the moment there are two Superboys running around within DC's comic books. One is Jon Kent, the recently aged teenage son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane; and the other is the recently returned Connor Kent, the teenage clone.
When asked if the two would ever meet and resolve who is who, Bendis revealed, "Jon and Conner will meet and work that out. On panel. PROMISE."
As for the title of "Superboy", Bendis explained that "there will be some rebranding and some new looks. Change is good!"
While he didn't reveal which of the boys would be getting either a new name or a new look, we should soon be able to differentiate between the two Superboys going forward.
