The DC YouTube channel has posted a scene from the “Justice League Unlimited” animated series in which Superman announces at a press conference that he feels the League has failed in its mission. Because of this, they’ve decided to disband the League and shut down the Watchtower. Green Arrow steps up and reminds Superman that despite their mistakes, they’re still heroes—especially after defeating Luthor and Brainiac—and that the world still needs them, especially Superman.
This clip is from the episode titled “Divided We Fall,” the 12th episodes of the second season of the animated series, which first aired on July 16, 2005.
