Is Pierson Fodé the Next Superman?

Pierson Fode

Actor Pierson Fodé has reportedly auditioned for the role of Superman/Clark Kent in James Gunn’s upcoming film “Superman: Legacy”.

According to Variety.com, the “The Bold and the Beautiful” star sent in an audition tape which “included a montage of footage showing his very Clark Kent-like childhood on a farm in the small town of Moses Lake, Wash”.

James Gunn, who is writing and directing the movie, is said to have liked what he saw.

Fodé is no stranger to the world of superheroes, having appeared on an episode of the “Supergirl” TV series in 2020, guest starring as Gregory “Angus” Bauer in the fifteenth episode of Season 5 “Reality Bites”.

Aged 31, Fodé would appear to be a little older than what Gunn is reportedly looking for, with the film said to focus on a young Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing.

“Superman: Legacy” is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
