Brandon Routh was a special guest at the Celebrity Fan Fest in San Antonio, Texas this weekend, where he participated in a Q&A panel. During the panel he was asked about what it was like getting back in to a Superman costume for The CW’s upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover so many years after playing the Man of Steel in “Superman Returns”.

I like this video. It’s great to see Brandon talk about returning to the role of Superman again. He must be really happy about it.

I’m glad that he not only gets to revisit the role again but that he also has some sense of closure to the situation since like he said he thought he would be doing more of them and that was not to be. I think his being older now actually does help because even though he was 25 when they made Superman Returns he looked even younger than that so there was a bit of a dissonance.
