In a new episode of his “Inside of You” podcast, Michael Rosenbaum interviews actor Brandon Routh, asking him about his thoughts and feelings on his role as Superman (in “Superman Returns”) not living up to the expectations that he had hoped for.
In the interview Routh opens up on the idea of one’s ego clouding self judgement and how it’s important to pursue balance in life. We talk about deflecting as a defense mechanism, overcoming things not within our control, and our purpose day to day.

After watching this interview of Michael interviewing Brandon, I have a new respect for the man. Brandon is a very humble person. He’s not only an actor who has played Superman, he’s also like everyone else. A human being. And I think that a lot of the times he’s seen as just Superman, when in fact he is just like everyone else. He has a life with challenges and also joys.
