We all know that “All Star Superman” is one of the best, (if not the absolute best Superman story ever created). However, I voted for “Superman vs. The Elite.” My interest in Superman had just been refueled when this animated film was released back in 2012. The story with Superman and The Elite themselves just really hit home. At that time, the only other character I’d ever seen be a serious threat to Superman’s life was Doomsday. I don’t know if I voted for this voting poll, but if I didn’t then I would have voted for either Public Enemies, Death of Superman, Reign of the Supermen, Superman the last son of krypton, Superman man of tomorrow, Superman unbound, Superman Doomsday, all star Superman, Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam, Superman unbound, or Superman apocalypse. On a related note, I will say that Michael Cudlitz’s Version of Lex Luthor on Superman and Lois reminds me very much of the Version of Lex Luthor that’s in All Star Superman. As far as I’m concerned All Star was the worst I’ve seen. Fly’s into the sun at the end??? No thanks. Horrendous ending. .
