40th Anniversary Screening of “Superman: The Movie” in Melbourne, Australia

The Astor Theatre in Melbourne, Australia will celebrate the 40th anniversary of “Superman: The Movie” with a 4K screening of the film later this month.

The one-off screening will take place on Sunday, March 17 at 2.00pm at the Astor Theatre located at the corner of Chapel Street and Dandenong Road, St Kilda.

Tickets start from $15 and are available to purchase online.

I wish that I could see Superman the movie in a Theater.
It’s my favorite movie.

Seeing it in a theater is a lot of fun and makes you appreciate the actual scope of the visuals much more than when you watch it on tv or a computer monitor. You’re also reminded of just how much fun it is to be able to actually SEE Superman fly and drink that in rather than just having him zoom up and out. That must have been really cool to see the Superman logo and title on the big screen MattComics. I hope that one day I’ll be lucky enough to get to see it on the big screen someday.
