Superman Homepage staff member Michael Bailey and his wife Rachel appear as characters in the comic book “Superman: Red & Blue #3”.
Written and drawn by artist Michel Fiffe, the story within the issue is titled “Kilg%re City,” and sees two STAR Labs workers needing to be rescued by Superman and Hawkgirl. The two STAR Labs employees are clearly drawn in the likeness of Michael and Rachel, with the name badge BAILEY clearly in view in case there was any doubt.
Got to meet Michael Bailey at one of his DragonCon panels couple years back and Rachel was with him. Great panels and they were both really nice. Even my wife’s best friend whose usually not heavily invested in american comics lore really enjoyed it.
Cool to see them getting a nod in the pages of an actual Superman comic.
