Fans in California will want to get along to the Gardena Cinema in Gardena, California for a 45th anniversary screening of “Superman: The Movie” this Saturday.
The special screening of “Superman: The Movie” will take place at 4.00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
At 3.30pm, prior to the start of the film, the Gardena Cinema will present a short documentary film called “Valerie” directed by Stacey Souther. “Valerie” is a 2019 documentary about the life and career of actress Valerie Perrine. The film explores Perrine’s personal life and career, including her battle with Parkinson’s disease. It tells the story of Perrine, who begins her career in the back row of a Las Vegas pony show. Director Stacey Souther will do a filmmaker Q&A panel after the short documentary film and before the start of the main feature presentation of “Superman: The Movie”.
Attendees will be allowed to enter the auditorium at 2.00 pm. The Gardena Cinema is located at 14948 Crenshaw Blvd., Gardena in California. Tickets are $15.
