In the latest Superman Homepage Member Poll we asked you the following question:
Which version of the “Justice League” movie will you be buying?
Looks like the standard Blu-ray Combo Pack is the most popular choice amongst Superman fans, with close to 40% saying that’s the edition of “Justice League” they’ll be buying. Interestingly, 16% of you said that you won’t be buying the movie at all. There’s another 7% who are holding out for something I don’t think we’ll ever see… a “Snyder Cut”.
Here’s the complete voting breakdown:

I didn’t see Justice League. I won’t see Justice League. BvS make me some stupidly angry that I’m boycotting the rest of the DCEU until it’s rebooted.
I get what I need from Superman in Supergirl right now.
The last outing of Superman on Supergirl absolutely stunk. BvS was done very well, like it or not(you don’t). They surly don’t need a re-boot. And I hope to god at this point we don’t get one.
Mistakes were made in the JL for sure. BUT it was not in any way deserved of the pounding it got in some circles. The most distracting part IMO was the mustache fiasco. That was actually the only obvious part that poor CGI could be applied.
Personally I liked Superman in Supergirl, in Batman V Superman and Justice League. But’s that’s me. 🙂
I feel differently about Cavill’s version of Superman, however I do respect your opinion SuperFunTime.
Superman on Supergirl’s show is a way better interpretation of the character. Two out of the three times, he acts like Superman. Where as Henry Cavill’s version has only remotely acted like the character in his brief scenes in justice league. In man of steel, and batman v superman, he spends half of his screen time moping and brooding. He doesn’t act very much like Superman if you ask me. The difference between Superman fighting Supergirl on the show Supergirl and Superman fighting the justice league is that Tyler’s version was being brain washed/manipulated with silver Kryptonite, While Cavill’s literally… Read more »
That’s just my opinion. Some might feel the same, some might not. That’s ok. Everyone has their own preferences about Superman.
Spartan1017,
There are fans who feel the same as you. I’m sure Tyler will back at some point. I too thought he did a good job on the show Supergirl. I say give it some time. He’ll be back.
Though I like Hoechlin’s Superman, I’m not even talking about that. It’s Supergirl’s character that gives me what I’m looking for when I go to watch/read a Superman story. Something I didn’t get at all from MoS or BvS. And at this point, I don’t care what strides they make to do a course-correction. Damage is done.
I do agree that Supergirl is a good show. Melissa Benoist does a great job with the character.
I think that this will do great in DVD and Bluray sales. Anyone that hasn’t watched it, may be surprised on how good it is.
My personal opinion… It was far better and enjoyable than the current “greatest comic movie ever made” Black Panther.
I loathe the movie, but it will do well on DVD. It’s a good flick for children, I can’t see parents not picking it up for their kids. Even BvS did really well on home release and that film was not exactly kid-friendly.
I didn’t vote, so retroactively count me among the “not going to be buying”. I’m a broken record at this point, but even without a “Snyder cut”, I’d still need every single scene present in the trailers, but cut from the movie to convince me; for fanedits, if nothing else.
Neo……As many miscues and mistakes that were made in the JL there is one salvation, small as it may be. That if one hasn’t seen it, and being a Superman fan, one would get at least some satisfaction. And that’s the revival of Superman. There is some pretty decent action leading up to that. Again…..not excusing the mess that the WB allowed to take place when the JL should have show cased the JL properly.
Sure, there are cool moments in it, I don’t argue that; it’s what makes it very suitable for kids as well. But I already saw it twice in theaters, I have literally nothing else to gain from owning or watching this again.
I can’t disagree with anything you’ve said about the movie. The reason why I didn’t see it twice was because I wanted something to look forward to when it came out on DVD. If I buy it, I’m not sure if I would watch it more than just one time. Or a year later for that matter. I find that Henry’s distorted face to be such a distraction, and the movie just about starts off that way, it somewhat poisons my desire to want to see it again. But that was just one of the many baffling scenes that along… Read more »
