Kid’s Craft – Flying Superman

Stuck at home? Looking for something creative to do? Here’s a simple yet effective craft project for the young and young at heart.

What you’ll need:

  • A toilet paper tube
  • A color printer
  • 2 pieces of printer paper (the thicker the better)
  • Scissors
  • Glue

There are 2 templates located here: Template 1 and Template 2. Simply print them both out on your color printer, cut out the shapes and then follow the 6 Step Guide below.

Step 1Step 1: Wrap the red and blue square shape around the toilet paper tube and glue it in place.

Step 2Step 2: Glue the belt and Superman “S” symbol in place.

Step 3Step 3: Wrap the head around the top of the blue part of the tube and glue it in place.

Step 4Step 4: Glue the arms on the cape so they point upwards as shown.

Step 5Step 5: Glue the cape to the back of the tube, ensuring the red side of the cape is facing the tube.

Step 6Step 6: Glue the legs on to the front of the red end of the tube.

You’re done!

You could always attach a piece of string and hang your Flying Superman from the ceiling or light fitting as an ornament.
