“Justice League” Running Time Confirmed

With tickets for the “Justice League” movie set to go on sale at the end of this month, we now have official word about the running time of the movie.

Contrary to some wild rumors about a 3-hour film, the running time for the “Justice League” movie is officially 121 minutes (2 hours, 1 minute).

This puts “Justice League” as the shortest of the DCEU films to date, with “Man of Steel” 143 minutes long, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” 151 minutes long, and “Wonder Woman” 141 minutes in length.

For comparison, “Superman: The Movie” ran for 183 minutes, “Superman II” had a running time of 127 minutes, “Superman III” ran for 125 minutes, while “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” clocked in at 93 minutes.

“Justice League” will be released to theatres on November 17, 2017.

Seems kind of short considering you have to introduce three brand new characters and reintroduce Superman.

I hope the run time is not being forced. Last thing I want is more studio interference.

It not the length so much as what is actually INSIDE that run time and sadly editing is practically a lost art in Hollywood. You can have a two hour movie that feels like there’s no information but so many quick cuts and you wonder where the time went and what the hell it was even all about. “Okay two big hunks of metal just zipped by…maybe one of them was Optimus Prime? This is weird, here at the Homepage and other sites are reporting the same thing. Yet I can remember that they revealed the run time some time ago, saying it was close to 3 hours. And IMDB is still saying its 2 hours 50 mins.

The Avengers was like 2 hours and 20 minutes, the movie did really well since we know about each characters in thier own movies.
With Man of steel,Batman V Superman, Sucide squat and Wonder Woman been out I hope this movie does well like the Avengers in 2 hours.

With just 2 hours of running time I would think things are going to move along at a fairly quick pace. There are three new people that haven’t had any screen time. Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. I’m sure they’re going to spend a significant amount of time on them while we have a back ground of the impending invasion on the way. I for one like the longer running time in the 2-1/2 hour range.
