Director James Gunn has shared a photo of the display on his wall in his production office for the movie “Superman: Legacy”.
Decorated with images from the comic book series “Superman For All Seasons,” the display shows the cover for the 2023 Absolute Edition of the hardcover collection written by Jeph Loeb with artwork by Tim Sale, along with other iconic images from the seminal story.
Told through the course of four seasons in the Man of Steel’s adolescent life, “Superman For All Seasons” illustrates that it is the person, not the powers, that makes Superman a hero.

“Superman: Legacy”, which will star David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
It looks to me that they are planting a red herring here.
