Yes, Superman returned from the dead in the “Justice League” movie, but reports of Henry Cavill having died are not true.
The actor took to Instagram perplexed at the report on Wikipedia that he had passed away on March 3, 2018.
Looking confused in the photo he posted, Cavill wrote: “When you learn that you died 2 days ago….”, also showing the Wikipedia biography box that listed his death.
Unfortunately, as with many Wikipedia pages, anyone with an account is able to sign in and edit the information. Wikipedia is usually pretty prompt at correcting misinformation while slapping the wrist of those responsible.
Superman lives!
I wonder if this constitutes a death threat? It’s possible a Superman fan who didn’t like Hener Cavill’s version of the character changed his Wikipedia entry as a bit of wishful thinking.
Or it’s possible somebody watched BvS that day on thought it was news footage. 😛

And this is why I don’t consider Wikipedia an encyclopedia. A person with no background in research (or simply doesn’t care about the facts) can just write anything he or she wants without anyone verifying the information.
Now that gave me the jitters. Stay alive and well and always be our Superman, Mr. Cavill.
