Actress Laura Vandervoort, who played Kara/Supergirl on the TV series “Smallville,” has also congratulated Sasha Calle on being cast as Supergirl for the upcoming movie “The Flash,” posting the following message on her Twitter account, “Welcome to our now family of four Sasha!”
Yesterday TV’s Supergirl Melissa Benoist posted her congratulations via Instagram.

The casting announcement came earlier this week when director Andy Muschietti posted the video call in which he told Sasha she’d won the role.
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script by Christina Hodson, “The Flash” stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle and Billy Crudup. The film arrives in theaters November 4, 2022.
Fans have wasted no time posting their artist impressions of what Sasha Calle might look like as Supergirl.

Nice to see that both Laura and Melissa have given their support for Sasha. 🙂
Has any Superman actors said anything about her casting?
If she is indeed a Supergirl from another universe, please do not dye her hair blonde. Keep your natural hair color and be your own character.
Really like the fan-made costumes. Hopefully the real one would be similar to the last two. (I wish they would make Supergirl and Superman’s costumes brighter, no idea why they are making them dark since MOS)
Blond or brunette she looks good either way!
