Margot Kidder & Annette O'Toole

September 13, 2004: Another Al Gough Interview

Before I reference another interview with Al Gough from another fan site, it should be noted that Warner Bros. has released the first promotional photo showing Margot Kidder in her role as an emissary to Dr. Swann (Christopher Reeve). The photo (shown right) reunites Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) and Lana Lang (Annette O'Toole) from the movie "Superman III".

The Pulse interviewed Al Gough recently, and here's an excerpt from their interview:

Gough said we'd be seeing more Kryptonite in the upcoming season and teased interested parties should "watch the first episode!" He also addressed the rumor that this season is the last season of Smallville. "It's not necessarily the last season," he began. "The show will go on as long as fans watch Smallville. We have designs for how to take the graduates to the next level with college and various other things. The beauty of Smallville is half the characters are not in school: Lex, Lionel, Martha, Jonathan. We had Clark, Chloe, Pete, and Lana in school - although Pete isn't a regular anymore and Chloe may or may not be dead. Lois is in college. So we have definite ways to go with the show beyond four or five years."
