In an interview with TVline.com, “Superman & Lois” showrunner Todd Helbing talks about what we can expect from Season 2 of The CW TV series.
“Now the kids are a year older. Jordan and Jonathan’s interests are going to draw them away from the family a bit more, and Clark’s going to have a hard time.”
As for the introduction of Natalie, the daughter of John Henry Irons and Lois Lane from an alternate earth, Helbing says, “When you introduce one new person into a dynamic, it can completely change things.”
As for Lois’ own journey as part owner of the Smallville Gazette with Chrissy Beppo. “Lois has been a reporter for 20 years, but she’s never been an owner,” Helbing adds. “So that comes with its own new set of headaches.”
Season 2 of “Superman & Lois” is set to return to our screens in early 2022.
I just hope the show doesn’t succumb to the cast bloat that affects most of the CW shows as they go on. I want the focus of the show to strongly be on the Kent family.
