The CW’s “Elseworlds” Plot Elements Revealed

EW.com has our first official look at Supergirl teaming up with The Flash, Arrow, and John Wesley Shipp also as The Flash.

The three-night event begins with Arkham Asylum doc John Deegan (Lost’s Jeremy Davies) rewriting reality, which results in Oliver (Amell) and Barry (Gustin) swapping lives. In this new reality, Oliver Queen looks like Gustin and Barry Allen looks like Amell, and the two heroes are the only ones who know they’re in the wrong lives and have each other’s powers. This not only explains what’s going on in the recent promos, but also why the actors have swapped costumes.

Supergirl co-showrunner Robert Rovner said, “She’s trying to help them navigate what they’re going through and support them and kind of battle their way back to being who they’re supposed to be.”

You and me both. This has a Twilight Zone vibe…all that’s missing in Rod Serling.

Thought about that too. Those were good times to sit in front of the TV screens and waiting for those shows. Always had my popcorn, crisps and Pepsi ready.

Yep…..that will be the main reason why I will watch it! The entire series came out a number of years ago. It’s great! If you don’t have it, it’s worth getting. Just seeing that giant lightning bolt at the beginning of each episode is still fantastic. And the Flash running sequences are still the best as they had no cheap CGI!! John Wesley Ship = Flash!

“Supergirl co-showrunner Robert Rovner said, ‘She’s trying to help them navigate what they’re going through and support them and kind of battle their way back to being who they’re supposed to be.’” So basically Supergirl will be moral support? Yep, that ought to be exciting for her.
