Take a Look at the “DCeased #1” Variant Cover by Inhyuk Lee

Midtown Comics has revealed their exclusive variant cover for the upcoming “DCeased #1” by artist Inhyuk Lee.

The cover features an image that puts a disturbing spin on the “Death of Superman” scene of Lois Lane holding a deceased Superman in her arms.

Wirtten by Tom Taylor, the “DCeased” saga finds Earth inflicted by a mysterious techno-virus, infecting 600 million people and turning them instantly into violent, monstrous engines of destruction. The heroes of the DCU are caught completely unprepared for a pandemic of this magnitude and struggle to save their loved ones first… but what happens to the World’s Greatest Heroes if the world ends?

The regular cover will be drawn by Greg Capullo, with other variants by Francesco Mattina, Yasmine Putri, and Stefano Gaudiano.

“DCeased #1” will be released on Wednesday, May 1.

Honestly Lois’s face looks like it was done through a Zombie Booth app haha
Now imagine other classic covers getting the same treatment. Green Lantern / Green Arrow: Hard Flesh Eating Zombies.

Kevin Maguire’s JLA: Zombie League of America.

The possibilities are endless.

All in all…really really good cover.

Is she suppose to look like she’s a zombie?
