I finally was able to finish reading Superman Smashes the Klan two weeks ago. I know, I should have finished reading it a long time ago. Lol 🙂
I’m glad to read that it’s getting this award. It deserves it.
I’m glad these won the 2021 Eisner Awards! Did you see that WB?? A positive Superman story with a good-natured Superman got recognition and won an Eisner Award. So my message to WB is “Now you see that a good-natured Superman story can be successful. ‘Superman Smashes The Klan’ should be in the line-up of your next Superman animated movies. No more evil Superman required.”
Exactly!
Thank you “Superman2878.” It’s great that we are both on the same wavelength.
And with that Superman Smashes The Klan achieves the comic triple crown:
Harvey Award
Mike Wieringo Spirit Award
Eisner Award
Yes, absolutely! Hopefully Warner Brothers Animation Studios WAKES UP from their “evil Superman dream” and then brings the world a 2-part “Superman Smashes The Klan” animated film.
Oh, they will, as soon as it’s financially convenient for them.
Somewhere, there is an executive losing sleep over the fact they didn’t get around to doing this during the Trump administration.
